A hand-knotted Kazak carpet runner. This hand-knotted carpet features a palette of emerald green, midnight blue, rust, burgundy, pale yellow, tan, and ivory. It has four diamond shaped starburst medallions on a field patterned with geometric symbols such as amulets and cruciform motifs. The main border features alternating diagonal lines ,‘S’ hook motifs and grid designs. It has short kilim skirts and natural warp fringe to either end.
