Original Sumi-e Ink on Paper Drawing

Item Details

An original ink on rice paper sumi-e. The drawing features a fibrous paper, with a still life of fruits. The piece is a large scale ‘thank you’ note to Mr. Johnson from one ‘D. Carroll’ to Mr. Johnson for his efforts in presenting the work of modern artist Shinji Turner-Yamamoto, presumably at the Phyllis Weston Gallery. The piece is dated in the top right hand corner ‘1.2.13’ and has the artist’s signature to the bottom right hand corner. Taped with painters tape to a cardboard backing.

Condition

Some wear to edges.
