Chinese Gong on Carved Wooden Frame

A Chinese gong. Enclosed in black metal, the brass disk of this gong is housed in a carved wooden frame with cherry-stained dragon motifs at the top over black lacquered wood with cherry accents. The frame is supported by a carved base with curved pedestal feet in front and back. It is marked indiscernibly on the reverse side of the gong.
