A color lithograph designed by 20th century artist Joan Miro (1893-1983). This print from the book Les Révolutions Scéniques du XXe Siècle, or ‘Performing Revolutions of the Twentieth Century’, depicts Miro’s signature organic amorphic shapes, featuring a dense, irregular black orb enclosing and enclosed by smaller, more whimsical line work and colorful shapes. The book containing this folio was limited to 5000 copies, published by Société Internationale d’Art XXe Siècle, printed by Adrien Maeght in Paris, and features text by Denis Bablet. It is unknown if this print is from a French or English edition. The print is presented under glass with layered white and red mats in black wood frames with gold tone textured liners. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso. There is a companion print available in lot 17DAL226-117.
