A 1980 limited edition artist’s proof etching on paper titled Stud Poker by well-listed American artist LeRoy Neiman (1921 – 2012) from the artist’s Eaux Fortes Suite. The black-and-white print depicts a group of poker players and onlookers gathered around a table in the midst of a high-stakes game. The work is signed and dated in graphite to the lower right and numbered to the lower left as 30 out of an edition of 40 artist’s proofs (‘A/P XXX/XL’). It is additionally signed and inscribed in black ink to the frame backing paper with ‘To Dan, 12-3-93, Poker – ’A game of Death’ LeRoy Neiman’. The print is matted in off-white and presented under glass in a black wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso. The frame backing includes a certificate of authenticity from La Galleria d’Arte of Newport Beach, California with additional information about the work.

- minor discoloration to paper; edge wear and scratches to frame; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly.
