Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of a forest path by listed Swedish-born artist Theodore Victor Carl Valenkamph (1868-1924). This piece depicts a winding, light-dappled path lined with autumnal trees, a quick-moving stream visible past the high grasses in the background. This piece is signed ‘T.V.C. Valenkamph’ in red to its lower right corner and is mounted in a gold tone frame with a textile liner and a wire for hanging to its verso.

- fair; discoloration to liner; discoloration to verso of canvas; scratches along frame.
