American Colonial Theme Plates with Gorham and Delft
Item Details
A selection of decorative display plates. There are five pieces including one Gorham plate depicting an American wild west scene after the painting Fight for the Waterhole by Frederic Remington. It is stamped to the back with a maker’s mark and fitted with hardware for wall mounting. The blue Old Fisherman plate is stamped ‘Delfts – Boch La Louvière’. The piece depicting a cabin and hearth is stamped ‘Colonial Homestead by Royal’. The blue Shenango china plate has an image of a historic American railroad. Also included is a wall-mounted plate depicting a painting of George Washington on horseback.
Condition
- good to fair condition for Gorham plate with light wear; fair condition for other three plates with staining.
