An East Asian style sandstone sculpture of a Buddhist figure. This work depicts an ornately adorned figure posed sitting cross-legged, looking downward while emerging from an alcove in a mid-relief. The alcove itself is moulded with foliate patterning, as well as a halo which sits behind the figure’s head. The sculpture is unmarked.

- one hand missing; minor marks to surface; discoloration to one hand.
