A hand-knotted Indian carved wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of sage, ivory, mauve, camel, salmon, and sky blue. The sage colored field features a sculpted central floral patterned medallion in an Aubusson style. Framing the field is a geometric chained border with a notched floral main border featuring vases to each corner. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and a double knotted natural warp fringe to the ends. Labeled to the underside.
