A finely hand-knotted signed Persian wool and silk blend area rug. This garden-themed rug is rendered in a palette of olive, hunter, sky blue, ivory, rose, sand, and camel. The olive field features an ornate all-over floral pattern along with lush foliage. Framing the field is an equally elaborate main floral patterned border, along with a scrolling acanthus leaf guard border. The signature can be found at one end framed in a cartouche. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and a fine natural warp fringe to the ends. This piece is unlabeled.
