An antique American Rococo Revival marble top table. This mid 19th century walnut turtle shaped white marble top parlour table has a thick moulded apron supporting the top with four foliate carvings under the apron and between each of the scrolled cabriole legs which are carved with acanthus leaves at the knees and connected with scrolling stretchers to a finely turned central finial. Original finish and original marble top. No apparent maker’s mark.

Condition
