Item Details

An antique late Federal cherry cupboard or press, circa 1830s and likely Mid-Atlantic region. It features a top section with molded cornice, above two framed, recessed panel doors with diamond inlaid escutcheon, lock, and key, flanked by paneled reeded stiles. The interior features three replaced shelves on original toothed supports. The projecting bottom cabinet includes a full-width drawer with knobs, above two framed, recessed paneled doors, flanked by full-turned columns. It rests a plinth base.
