Newport Creamer and Sugar Bowl with Other American Silver Plate Tableware

An assortment of American silver plate tableware. Featured is a shell dish with a scalloped edge, a chased grape vine motif to the handle and three ball feet. Also included are three footed gravy boats with decorative rims and flying scroll handles including Rochelle by Wilcox, Crown Silver Co., and an unidentified maker, a covered sugar bowl and creamer with gadroon trim and double scroll handles by Newport (a trademark of Gorham), a footed creamer and sugar bowl set by F.B. Rogers, and an unmarked creamer and sugar bowl set with D-shaped handles. The assortment finishes with an unmarked scalloped-edge bowl and a footed creamer and sugar bowl set featuring ornate Baroque style designs of scrolls and shells. Most of the items feature a maker’s mark to the undersides. Some are illegible.
