Vintage Mueck-Carey Co. Weighted Sterling Candelabras
Item Details
A pair of vintage weighted sterling candelabras by Mueck-Carey Co. of New York (active 1940s – 1950s). These matching pieces feature two curved and reeded arms with gadroon trim bobeches and sconces attached to a knopped and column center stem with a sconce and gadroon trim base. The undersides are stamped with the maker’s mark ‘< M >’ along with ‘Sterling Reinforced with Cement’ and ‘263’.
Condition
- to fair; surface wear including scratches and mild tarnish; numbers carved on undersides.
