Item Details
A pairing of weighted sterling compotes. This includes a tall sterling compote with a shallow well, decorative repoussé floral swags around the edges, and scalloped repoussé gadroon trim on the wavy rim. The dish rests on a fluted column and a round base, marked to the underside, ‘Sterling Reinforced with Cement’ along with hand-etched numbers. This piece is presented with a short sterling compote, featuring a round scalloped well, gadroon rim, and a pedestal style base. It is stamped, ‘Sterling Reinforced with Cement 1691’ on the underside.
