Item Details
An oil painting on board by A. Mauve. The still life piece depicts an open book and globes set upon a table covered with an ornate patterned tapestry in an interior setting. The work is signed ‘A. Mauve’ in black paint to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a gold tone wooden frame with moulded floral embellishments, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- mild discoloration, accretion and toning to image; slight scuffing and edge wear to frame; no backing paper present.
