An oil painting on board of Rome’s Trevi Fountain by listed Indiana artist George Jo Mess (1898-1962). This painterly work depicts a large fountain surrounded by buildings and figures, a blue sky hanging overhead. It is signed to its lower left corner and is matted under glass in a wide gold tone frame with a wire for hanging to its verso.
