1940s Classics Club from Walter J. Black 21-Volume Set
Item Details
A mid-20th century set of books from the Classics Club. This incomplete set includes an assortment of twenty-one volumes, featuring Paradise Lost and Other Poems by John Milton, The Odyssey of Homer, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, and more. Each book was published for the Classics Club by Walter J. Black of New York during the 1940s. The books are presented in tan cloth bound covers with a red band and gilt lettering to the spine.
