Vintage Louis XV Style Double Sided Desk by John Widdicomb

Item Details

A vintage Louis XV style double sided desk. It has a beige leather inlay with embossed vine border, which is repeated on the pull out surfaces to each narrow end. On either side it has a center drawer flanked by two shorter, stacked drawers, all with curved frame accent and brass knobs on openwork filigree plates; the center drawers have an arched escutcheon instead of knob. It is raised on cabriole legs. The John Widdicomb mark is inside a drawer.
