Antique Eastlake Walnut Cylinder Desk

Item Details

An antique Eastlake walnut cylinder desk. This American desk is made of walnut and burl walnut veneer with a locking drawer just under the rectangular top and between the two incised roundels which is just over the burl walnut veneered sliding cylinder that conceals a fitted interior of one drawer and seven pigeon holes as well as a pull out writing surface inset with leather. The lower base features one long floral incised carved drawer, over two smaller, stacked drawers on the left and a door on the right which conceals a filing and storage area. All terminating on a raised plinth base on castors. Unmarked by the maker.
