An original antique turn-of-the-century oil painting on canvas by an artist named G. Wallace. The painting depicts a river scene at night. Tall silhouetted trees rise along a rippling stream, where a few cows can be seen wading in the distance. A full moon peeks between the trees, providing the only light in the otherwise inky scene. The painting is signed to the lower right. It is presented in a stunning wooden frame with tiers of cast surface embellishments, gold tone finish, and a hanging wire.

- light craquelure is developing across the painting’s surface. Several large chips to frame finish.
