A hand-knotted Pakistani Bokhara area rug. The rug features a lattice pattern of diamond medallions in a palette of green, persimmon, blue, cream, and black on a deep red ground. The field is enclosed with a geometric pattern with a leaf and calyx border in a complementary palette. The rug features an overcast edge and a wool fringe to either end. The rug is not marked.
