A 1947 Pilotuner T601 FM radio tuner. The Pilotuner features a mahogany veneer case with glass front to the ivory, burgundy and gold tone dial. It includes two black early plastic control knobs. The Pilotuner T601 was one of the earliest FM tuners manufactured and is an FM radio without audio amplifier or speaker and is designed to plug into a standalone amplifier or AM-only radio. The label to the back is marked ‘Pilotuner Pilot Model T601’.

- minor scratches and wear to the wood; dry veneer in spots; some dust and oxidation noted; untested.
