Vintage Ciaurro Orvieto Hand Painted Italian Faience Pitcher

Item Details

A circa 1920s Italian faience earthenware pitcher from Iliaro Ciaurro Orvieto. This item has an all over golden yellow glaze with hand painted designs of classical figures and motifs in green, orange and black to the body. The underside is hand signed in black, ‘Ciaurro Orvieto.’

Condition

- small chip to spout; faint surface marks present throughout.
