Japanese Satsuma Hand-Painted Porcelain Vase
Item Details
A Japanese Satsuma hand-painted porcelain floral vase with a cream colored ground decorated with blossoming tree branches accented in gold-tone with birds flying about the branches and flowers. The flowers are small with pink centers and raised white spotted petals. The neck and base of the vase has a brown and geometric gold-tone design encircling the neck. The bottom of the vase is signed in gold tone Japanese characters against a brown rectangular. The vase is accompanied by a wood base that features cut work to the rim.
