A Japanese serigraph and gold leaf folding screen. The small screen depicts a woman leading an ox-pulled covered cart. The woman is carrying a leafy branch over one shoulder and the covered cart is painted in bright colors with floral decoration. The screen is mounted with a gold colored silk brocade border in a wooden frame. A label to the verso is marked ‘San-Sui Japan’.

Condition

- slight wear and fading along the right and left folds.
