A Pershing Tewawina Eagle Dancer Hopi Kachina doll. Featured is an artisan made Kachina doll depicting the Hopi spirit Eagle Dancer, a beacon of power and strength, as well as being a heavenly messenger. Eagle Dancer’s hand-painted body is comprised of carved wood, and is adorned in a headdress with upraised wings, a beaked mask, fur collar, traditional dress, and raw leather moccasins. The artist, Pershing Tewawina, hones his craft in Polacca, Arizona. The verso is signed by the artist in black text.
