Item Details
An original antique oil painting on canvas. The landscape painting depicts a woman walking along a woodland stream, carrying a metal bucket on one arm, and gathering her apron with the other. A gentleman stands further back, along the bank. The work is unsigned and is presented in a gold tone wood frame with a hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- stretcher marks and extensive craquelure to surface. Abrasions with paint loss to right side at frame edge. Light accretion to surface of painting and frame.
