A set of vintage military liquor decanters from Kentucky Gentleman, Grenadier Spirits, and McCormick. The five figurine decanters in this lot feature two Union and one Confederate soldier with ‘Kentucky Gentleman’ labels at the front. The Confederate soldier is marked in the surface to the base ‘Barton Distilling Co. – Bardstown – Production Soldier Series No.4 – 1969’. The officer in a red jacket is marked at the front ‘1822 – Officer 3rd Guards – Regiment British’; he stands on a white decanter with gilt accents. This item is marked to the base ‘Arnart Imports, Inc. – Grenadier Spirits Co. – January 1971 – II’. The Ulysses S. Grant figurine, seated in a chair and drinking campfire coffee, is marked to the back of the decanter ‘McCormick Mo. – Straight Bourbon Whiskey – 86 Proof Limited Edition – 4/5 Quart’; it is marked underneath ‘American Porcelain – McCormick Distilling Company – Container Made in Japan’.
