A collection of world military metal figurines and toy soldiers. The approximately nine different representations here start with the Vikings and include Ottoman soldiers, American Revolutionary War pieces, European units from the 19th century, a unit from Greece, a marching unit from the early 20th century, and the Queen’s GUards matching musicians from England. The lot also features a figurine of Sir Walter Raleigh. The four vintage Viking models of kings and warriors are marked to the base’Olaf – 1988’, ‘Eric – 1977’, ‘Bjorn – 1985’, and ‘Borae – 1973’; they are also marked ‘Selandia’ after the name of the Danish island. An officer on a white horse is marked to the base ‘Britains Ltd – 1971 – deetail – Made in England’.
