Antique 1880 Seth Thomas Pillar Mantel Clock

Item Details

An antique Seth Thomas pillar mantel clock. This clock has a white wood case, with gold tone metal lion head handle and three gold tone pillars on each side. There is a round glass door in front of the clock dial, the dial has Arabic numerals, reads ‘Seth Thomas’ just under the number twelve, has a gold tone metal center plate, and two key arbors. Below the dial is a scrolling line design. There are four gold tone ornate Baroque style feet and the label on the verso reads ‘Patented September 7, 1880’ and includes two keys.

Condition

- stains on top, back has been replaced, paint chipped on the corner, loss of gold tone on metal pieces.
