1960s Rosko Technical Monkey
Item Details
A Rosko mechanical monkey. This 1960s battery operated mechanical monkey was produced by Japanese company Rosko and the monkey is named ‘Hy-Que’. The monkey is dressed in a red blazer with a striped blue and white shirt, khaki colored pants, and tin brown shoes. The monkey rests on a red tin base marked ‘Hy-Que, Speak No Evil, See No Evil, Hear No Evil Monkey’. The back of the base opens to reveal a battery compartment and is marked ‘Rosko Tested Trade Mark Made in Japan’.
