A generous collection of vintage dinnerware by Johnson Brothers in The Friendly Village pattern pre-1963. Included are 105 dishes decorated with leafy rims and central village scenes with red buildings. There are ten dinner plates, twelve salad plates, eight bowls, fourteen small bowls, eight sauce dishes, sixteen saucers, twelve teacups, and eight mugs. Also included are a creamer pitcher and handled sugar bowl, a sauce boat and underplate, and a lidded serving dish. Maker’s marks to the underside read ‘The Friendly Village, Made in England by Johnson Bros’.
