Galileo Thermometer and Glass Fishbowl Décor
Item Details
A Galileo thermometer and a decorative glass fishbowls. This freestanding clear glass tube features differently colored glass bulbs of varying masses which float or sink depending on the temperature, and thus the density, of the clear liquid in which they are suspended; hanging from each bulb is a silver tone disk with the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit. Also included is a decorative clear glass fishbowl with eleven colorful glass fish figurines, some of which are suspended from hollow glass bulbs that float when the bowl is filled with water. These pieces have no apparent maker’s marks.
