A serigraph on paper titled Chemist and attributed to listed artist Allen Saalburg (1899-1987). This print depicts a chemist’s scale with three colorful glass bulbs forming the stand and a ruler and print of an eagle on the surface behind it. It is unsigned and attributed on a label to the verso. The print is presented behind glass in a wood and gold tone painted frame with wire to the verso for hanging.

Condition

- discoloration to print; scratching and chipping to the paint on the frame throughout; water damage and significant tearing to the paper backing.
