Haviland "La Chasse a la Licorne" Plate and Antique Royal Worcester Platter
Item Details
A Haviland La Chasse à la Licorne limited edition No. 2 plate, circa 1972. Designed by Robert Haviland and C. Parlon, this plate depicts a scene from the famous ‘Hunt of the Unicorn’ tapestry in vibrant color and detail. The underside is marked with identifying information. Accompanying this piece is an antique serving platter, circa 1903, from Royal Worcester with a turquoise band to the rim and gilt filigree trim. Also included are two more plates, one from Syracuse USA and one from Shelley China, England. All of these items are marked to the underside.
Condition
- faint surface marks present throughout; light wear to gilding; would benefit from cleaning.
