An antique Empire style mahogany secretariat. The secretariat has a slanted drop front, outfitted to the interior with both open cubbies and drawers. The secretariat has two dove-tailed drawers with beveled fronts and round wooden pulls. The piece has lyre-shaped front legs with scrolled feet, straight back legs and stretchers. The original key is included.
