Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan carpet runner. This wool carpet features a color scheme of coral-red, aqua, indigo ,pale peach, marsala and ecru. The coral-red colored field is patterned with an all over herati motif featuring geometric diamonds forms, angular lancet leaves, and palmettes. It is framed by borders of hooked boteh motifs and lobbed flower blossom vines. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and natural warp fringe to the ends. Labeled to the underside ‘Made in Iran’.
