Hand-Knotted Persian Hamadan Wool Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of scarlet, ivory, teal, sky blue, rose, wine, clementine, charcoal, and taupe. The scarlet colored field features a diamond medallion with coordinating spandrels, along with an all-over mina khani pattern. Framing the field is a two-petal calyx border and a floral meander guard border. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and a natural warp fringe to the ends. Labeled to the underside.
