A hand-knotted Persian Nain area rug with silk accents. This fine hand-knotted rug has a color palette of deep indigo,marsala, sky blue, cobalt ,mint, ocher, beige and ivory. It has a circular shaped medallion on an indigo blue colored oval lozenge patterned with curvilinear vines, lancet leaves, and Shah Abbasi palmettes. The main border features a pattern of curling vines and four pointed florets. It has overcast selvedges and fringe to either end.
