Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Kurdish Bijar wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of black, crimson, indigo, clementine, ivory, charcoal, and taupe. The crimson field features a large sawtooth bordered black colored lozenge infilled with geometrically shapes medallions and motifs. Framing the field is an over-sized leaf and blossom patterned border. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and a short natural warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
