A hand-knotted Persian Mahal Sarouk area rug. This rug is hand-knotted in a palette of cranberry, peach, indigo, mint, burgundy, and ivory. It features a diamond shaped medallion surrounded by muted peach flower blossoms on a red field patterned with curling leaves and flowers. It has compound borders of sawtooth lines, medahil motifs, and floral palmettes. It has overcast selvedges with fringe to either end.
