An antique trumeau mantle mirror with a painting of a romantic couple. This piece features a painting of a man and a woman beside a river, in an ovular composition above a mirror. The mirror and painting are mounted in a decorative white painted wood frame with gold tone accents and carved decoration with acanthus accents. There are no apparent maker’s marks, and the work is ready to hang.
