Vintage Villeroy and Boch "Muttertag" Art Plaques

A set of four, vintage, limited edition Villeroy and Boch Mettlach Muttertag phanolith plaques in cobalt blue and white. Includes a framed 1978 Muttertag plaque titled, Fruhlingsreigen, number 1068 out of 15000, and an unframed version numbered 1585 out of 15000 and comes with a certificate of authentication; two 1979 Muttertag plaques titled, Liebe, one is framed and numbered 1296 out of 10000, and the other is unframed and numbered 3593 out of 10000 and comes with a certificate of authentication. Phanolith is a kind of porcelain that combines the attributes of jasperware and Pâte-sur-pâte (French term meaning paste on paste) which is a method of porcelain decoration in a relief design. Framed pieces are in a gold and silver-toned painted gesso and wood frame. Hallmark and limited edition numbers impressed to the back. Made in Germany.
