An etching by Edna M. Martin (American, 1896 – 1996) of a cowboy and a corral. It depicts a cowboy on horseback herding a horse and colt into a corral filled with horses. The unframed print is signed to the lower right and is mounted in a white mat. The 1930 date is etched in the plate to the lower left and appears in reverse in the print.
Edna Martin was born in Seekonk, Massachusetts and graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1918. She taught at the Lincoln School in Providence, Rhode Island. Many of her watercolors and etchings were created during summers in Wyoming.
