Antique German Regulator Wall Clock, Circa Late 19th to Early 20th Century

An antique German regulator wall clock, circa late 19th to early 20th century. The walnut case features a shaped pediment carved with scrolled-foliate motifs above a full-length, glazed door flanked by a pair of fluted and ring-turned half-colmns. The door opens to a round, celluloid dial with black, Roman-numeral markers and red, geometric accents concealing brass works. Accenting the bottom of the case are two ball-turned, drop finials centered by a tiered pendant. The movement frame is marked ‘2948 / Geschuetzl’. Also included is a pendulum and a winding key.

- clock not tested; minor surface wear as would be expected; carved pediment is loose/detached from case and is probably a marriage; tiered pendant is missing a drop finial at the bottom; door hinges reset; arched molding on glazed door probably not original; door retains a sticker from “All Time Clock Repair” of Denver, Colorado dated “11-89”.
