Vintage Enameled Curtain Tie-Back Pins with Watteau Style Courtship Scenes
Item Details
A group of six vintage enameled curtain tie-back pins with Watteau style courtship scenes. The brass, knob-form pins feature beaded edges surrounding enameled faces decorated with bucolic courtship scenes in the style of Antoine Watteau (French, 1684-1721). Each has a projecting shank ending in a screw. They are unmarked.
Condition
- some small scratches and marks, mostly to backs; some minor oxidation/corrosion spots, with a heavier concentration to the back of one.
