A Chinese blue-and-white ceramic ginger jar. This jar features a pointed finial over a lid decorated with images of a dragon. The basin is decorated with abstract patterns as well as an image of a phoenix-like bird with the head of a chicken amid floral and abstract motifs. It is labeled ‘The People’s Republic of China’ on the underside.
