Vintage Thai Sterling Nielloware "Suvannamaccha and Hanuman" Cigarette Case
Item Details
A vintage Thai sterling silver and nielloware cigarette case. On one side the case features chased characters from the Thai epic, the Ramayana, including Suvannamaccha, the mermaid, and lord Hanuman, the monkey god. The other side depicts Chedi Klang Nam, the floating pagoda, in which a single boat sails along the waves. The inner edges are stamped ‘Sterling Made in Thailand’ and marked with the number eight. The approximate weight, including any non-sterling materials, is 5.560 ozt.

- to fair; surface wear including scratches and tarnish; some discoloration throughout.
