A group of three early 20th century handbags including a small style made with chain handle, metal push button clasp embossed with scroll and floral detailing and a hand made blue cloth body embroidered with pink rose motif to the center with gold embroidered accents, the inside has a light gold fabric lining, unmarked. Another style is designed with a chain handle, metal push button clasp embossed with lovely shell detailing and a hand made black fabric body with the inside having a dark green fabric lining and clasp marked
‘Pat. Feb 9, 1925’. The largest black handbag features a crochet handle, a plastic hinged clasp with pierced motif of tropical birds and a crochet textured body with black fabric lining.
